1 Configuration

1.1 What is the backing WS-BPEL server you use?

Currently only Apache ODE v1.3.3 is supported, Oracle Business Process Manager is also planned to be supported in future.

1.2 Is there any Nuntius specific configuration?

By default Nuntius can deploy and run any Apache ODE 1.3.3 compatible WS-BPEL process.
Only Nuntius specific features like enhancing WS-BPEL processes and activities logging require nuntius.xml descriptor. Current syntax can be found on Configuration page.

2 User accounts

2.1 Is there a demo account?

Yes, there is. Login: "demo", password: "nuntius". The demo user is not allowed to deploy and run processes, but there are some WS-BPEL examples prepared already by me. You can, for example: view deployed processes (nuntius descriptor, main WS-BPEL process definition), download zipped WS-BPEL process, view processes instances and their activity traces.

2.2 What can registered user do?

Apart from viewing processes, instances, activity traces, processes definitions and descriptors, registered user can deploy, enhance, and run processes. Also using Nuntius it is possible to analyse partial results, and visualise processes flows.

2.3 Are Nuntius accounts free of charge?

Absolutely! No charge at all!

2.4 What about privacy?

I will not share any personal data with any other institutions, I only want to have a record of Nuntius users so that I can produce some statistics, gather feedback for my PhD Thesis. All in the name of science :)

2.5 What is the limit of installed processes?

By default all users have a limit of 10 installed processes. In particular case this limit can be increased or even set to -1 (unlimited). If you want your limit to be increased, contact me. In order to contact me visit Contact.
Note that you are not restricted in any way in the number of instantiated processes, e.g. you can have 10 processes and 100 000 instances with 1 000 000 activity traces.

2.6 Hostile behaviour

As you probably noticed some identifiers to resources are passed as parameters in URLs. There is no way Nuntius console would generate a link to not your process, process instance, activity trace, descriptor, etc. Any manual manipulation of parameters causes security abuse.
After each hostile behaviour you are automatically signed out.
After three detected hostile behaviours your account becomes deactivated.
If your account will be suspended and you will find your suspension unjust, you can contact me to straighten out your case.
